STUDIO TIME RENTALS

Hot Shop at Benzaiten

Professional artists have found a home at the Benzaiten Center.  Josh Fradis, pictured below, exhibits the work he makes with us all over the country.  He has been renting time in our studio since we opened.  He appreciates our knowledgable and talented staff and the care we take in keeping our hot shop equipment updated and running smoothly.  This 2024 Summer we invested in a brand new state-of-the-art 400-pound furnace as well as updating our entire cold-working shop.

NOTE:  Before you can rent time in any of our studios, you first have to meet with the studio managers so they can evaluate your level of expertise.  You'll need to call or email the office to schedule one of the following managers:

Hot Shop Manager:  Grace Chepenik

Cold Shop Manager:  James Clarke

Flameworking Studio Manager:  Jose Ugas

What Else You Need to Know:

• Renters are required to sign

       a studio policy & waiver

• Rentals must be pre-paid before

       session begins

• Blocks of time can be purchased

       at discounted rate of 10% off 10 hours

• Rental Schedule: Tues.-Sat. 10AM-5PM

• Gross Overuse: an extra $4/lb after basic

• Straight & Diamond Shears
• Shop Pipes & Punties
• Garage
• Bench Torch
• Oxi/Gas Torch
• Kevlar Gloves & Safety Mask
• Compressed Air
• 1 Overnight Annealing Cycle
• Longer Cycles can be arranged with

Rental Time in our Hot Shop:

• 12" Glory Hole:  $60@hour
• 18" Glory Hole:  $65@hour 
• Assistant:  $25@hour
• Private Lesson:  $150@hour

Rental Time in Cold Shop:  $15@hour*

*Must pass our 'Cold Shop

Certification' process first

Cold Shop Services:  $25@hour
