Beginning Flame-Working I
No experience is needed for this class
Flameworking is a type of glasswork in which a small torch, mounted to table, is used to melt rods of glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is shaped using hand movements, tools and sometimes by blowing.
1.5 Hours
Days offered: Friday & Saturday
Times: 10:30AM, 1PM or 3PM
Cost: $95 per person
Minimum Age: 16
In this 1 ½ hour introduction you will receive personal step-by-step instruction on creating a beginner level flameworking piece such as a pendant, marble, bottle stopper or swizzle stick. We will cover safety, use of tools, and color application.
Maximum capacity is 4 people
Minimum age is 16

- Closed-Toe Shoes, NO Sandals
- Long Hair Must Be Pulled Back
- Natural Fiber Clothing, Nothing 100%
