Visiting Artist Sponsorships
Each year we bring in master glassblowers from all over world. This is one of the center's most important outreach programming that enriches our community in innumerable ways. These artists perform three-hour demonstrations supported in their efforts by our extremely talented staff and expertly narrated by our Creative Director, Eli Cecil. These muscular and fiery demos are unlike anything you've seen in other venues. We call these events the 'Artist Blow-Outs.'
Sponsorships of these events enable an individual or company to make a memorable impact on the community. Your support dollars that fund these events reaches a diverse group of individuals, community leaders, and families. For some exceptionally well-known artists, we will include a sit-down dinner to the programming called the 'Meet the Artist Dinner' to introduce the artist to serious art enthusiasts and collectors. These are always held the Thursday night before the 'Artist Blow-Outs.'
'Meet the Artist Dinners' are private, sit-down affairs held on Thursday nights from 6:30PM to 9:30PM in the Benzaiten Center’s main gallery surrounded by magnificent art! These intimate parties attract glass art collectors who enjoy discussions with the artists. These dinners are limited to 40 people. 'Visiting Artist Blow-Outs' are held from 6:30PM-9:30PM on Friday nights and feature the visiting artist working with a team of 4-6 other artists to create a large sculpture that takes 2-3 hours to complete. These lively events include light hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live music provided by talented local musicians. These events are limited to 150 people and are usually always sold out!

This is going to be a night of immersive Venetian splendor!We are creating an immersive 'Venetian Experience' by offering up a special glassblowing demonstration featuring Tim McFadden creating one or two of his beautiful Venetian goblets. Sergio Gnesin, who reps some of the top Murano artists will be exhibiting his own personal collection of Venetian art from the 1930s to the present. We won't have a gondola, but we will have an opera singer to serenade us! Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be more than enough for dinner. And of course, we will have an open bar. Kids & Scholarship Program Sponsorships
Imagine a child’s face filled with awe and fascination to see hot glass being poured into his or her own hand-made impression in a Sand-Casting Class, or the fun of cutting glass to create a decorative pane in a Fusing Class or experiencing one-on-one instruction in a Glassblowing or Flameworking Class. These are the types of opportunities that the Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts offer children and teens. We concentrate on kids who normally do not have the chance to experience these kinds of art classes. We arrange visits from PBC title-one schools, various nonprofit children’s organizations such as The Boys & Girls Clubs, The Guatemalan Center, The Mayan Center, The JCC, Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation Centers and many other inner-city organizations throughout PBC. We also offer these free classes to home-school groups and other nonprofit summer camps. Recently we have started to address at-need children through a PBC program called Arts for All.
