GLASSBLOWING
Glassblowing is the art of shaping molten glass using
heat, breath, and specialized tools.
Our Glassblowing Studio will be closed September 6 - 30, 2026 for maintenance.
The Office, Gallery & Gift Shop will be open Monday - Friday Sept. 7 - 27, 2026.
Normal hours of operation resume Sept. 29, 2026
Flameworking & Fusing will continue during September on Thursdays & Fridays.
Classes will resume October 1st.
FUSING
Fusing is a type of glasswork in which room temperature color glass is layered in adesign or pattern and then put into a kiln where the glass fuses together into one piece. Come be adventurous and learn about the varied possibilities of glass fusing!
FLAME-WORKING
Flameworking is a type of glasswork in which a small torch, mounted to a table, is used to melt rods of glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is shaped using hand movements, tools and sometimes by blowing.
